Who we are
FeedFlux is a hosted RSS and Atom reader at www.feedflux.com. For privacy questions, contact hello@feedflux.com.
What we collect
- Account. Email address, optional name, and a hashed password so you can sign in.
- Reader data. Feed subscriptions, categories, reading preferences (layout, theme, open mode), and which items you have opened or marked as read.
- Session. An HTTP-only cookie keeps you signed in after login.
- Email. We send a verification message when you create an account.
Feed items themselves are fetched from public RSS/Atom sources you subscribe to. We store those items so the reader can show them to subscribers.
Why we use this data
We process it to run the product: create and secure your account, fetch and display feeds, remember your preferences, and (for operators) understand overall usage. We do not sell your personal data and we do not show advertising in the reader.
Processors
Transactional email is sent through Resend. Hosting and related infrastructure providers process data on our behalf to keep the service online. They are used only to operate FeedFlux.
How long we keep it
Account and reader data stay as long as the account exists. You can delete your account by contacting us; we will then remove personal account data that is no longer needed to run or secure the service.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Write to hello@feedflux.com to make a request.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page. Continued use of FeedFlux after an update means you accept the revised policy.
